Sum it up, Piloted Shredder is a more defensive card, Hungry Dragon is a more offensive card, it really does depend on what deck your playing. Whereas Hungry Dragon can maybe snatch you a victory, but would be less than optimal to play when behind and with the inability to clear the 1-drop minion. Both have RNG effects which can win you a game or screw you over (doomsayer XD.) Shredder is definitely a better card to drop on the board when behind, but can't really stretch out a win. It's a very hard choice, I think neither Shredder or Hungry Dragon are specifically better than each other. Muster for Battle Turn 3 into Hungry Dragon Turn 4 and easily killing the spawned minion makes the Paladin Dragon archetype that much better. Now, in Dragon decks, it's a different story. Sure, it can be strong, especially if you have a weapon to clear it out, but Piloted Shredder is far superior in terms of vanilla usage. It does seem like it definitely has potential in Rogue in Paladin, but I feel as if the card is overrated for its stats vs. Mysteries of the Phoenix: Druid and Hunter Hunger can cause the dragon to be violent.
